Black Country Women’s Aid (BCWA) is an established charity working across the Black Country and wider West Midlands providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking.

Services range from advocacy, civil remedies, support in court, individual and group support and access to a range of therapeutic interventions. All services are client and needs led.

We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our growing and successful organisation within our Domestic Abuse Team.

Job Title: Domestic Abuse Advocate
Positions available: 1 full time position/37.5 hours
Starting Salary: £19,968

We are looking for a Domestic Abuse Advocate to join the Domestic Abuse team based in Sandwell.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working with victims/survivors of domestic abuse on both one to one and in group work settings. You will carry a case load which includes all aspects of case management including, risk assessment, needs assessment, support planning, outcomes and case review.

You will be required to provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a service to those at highest risk. You will be working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse.
