Salary: Basic from £27k p/a + excellent uncapped commission structure OTE £50-60k

Our client, a very well established independent telecommunications provider based in North Birmingham, is expanding its product portfolio to include managed IT services. This expansion will complement the excellent telephony and networking solutions it already provides to a wide range of existing business customers. As a result, an exciting new role has emerged to join the Sales team to sell managed IT product and services.

You’ll be helped by the company’s field sales, telemarketing and marketing teams to be introduced into business clients to consult with them on their IT estate, and you’ll be expected to generate sales of IT hardware, software and solutions and will be targeted to this affect. You will be working from the office, at home, and visiting customer sites for consultative meetings.

The successful candidate will have experience in selling IT product and services including but not limited to:

• Windows Server Platforms and Virtualisation. Backup & Recovery.
• Microsoft Windows Operating Systems including Windows 10
• Microsoft/Office 365, including Teams
• Cloud Computing including Azure
• General security and protection including Antivirus and Firewall

The company is looking for a well-rounded individual with a can-do attitude, who is keen and eager to help shape the future of the IT portfolio as it grows and develops. The successful applicant will be customer focussed with a burning ambition to desire and succeed. They will have extensive experience working for an MSP or similar and able to transfer the knowledge and experience gained easily.
