Commonwealth Games Contracts Manager
Fixed Term Contract
Hours of Work: 36.5 per week
Salary: £44,209 – £49,757 per annum per annum + exclusive benefits

Who we need
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Contract Manager to support the management and delivery of contracts for a multi-faceted transport programme for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. The Contract Manager will be integral to the successful delivery of the Games Transport Operation for Birmingham 2022. Successful candidates should enjoy working in a fast paced and agile environment and have exemplary stakeholder management skills. Experience in managing large multimillion pound contracts within the transport industry is preferred.

Birmingham 2022 includes 19 sports, bringing together more than 12,000 athletes, Games Family and international media for 11 days of top-class competition in amazing venues.

Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) plans, develops and manages an integrated transport system for the West Midlands that is reliable, affordable and accessible for all. It is the transport arm of the West Midlands Combined Authority.
A standard setter in the industry, our achievements are regularly recognised nationally, most importantly as the winner of ‘City Region Authority of the Year’ in 2016, 2017 and 2019 at the National Transport Awards.

This is a remote working opportunity until a date is agreed for the WMCA workforce to return to our usual place of work at 16 Summer Lane, Birmingham.
