Who we need

We are looking for an experienced GIS and mapping practitioner to support TfWM’s Commonwealth Games GIS and Mapping Service. You will be responsible for production, analysis and dissemination of geospatial data and support the delivery of a high quality, efficient mapping service.

You will have proven experience of developing web based mapping solutions and be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience and knowledge of automation programmes/scripting, transport datasets and APIs would be advantageous.

Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) plans, develops and manages an integrated transport system for the West Midlands that is reliable, affordable and accessible for all. It is the transport arm of the West Midlands Combined Authority.

This is a remote working opportunity until a date is agreed for the WMCA workforce to return to our usual place of work at 16 Summer Lane, Birmingham.
