Location: Recently refurbished, modern offices in Bredbury, Stockport, SK6 2SN
Salary: 22-23k
Hours of work: 40 hours – Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:30


Active Business Communications is a well-established and growing provider of business Telecoms and IT services. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join our close-knit team in Stockport. You will be responsible for implementing orders for hardware, new connections and renewals, and providing ‘in-life’ customer service for our business mobile customers. We don’t run a call centre environment, so you’ll be talking with customers, building relationships and delivering results in your own way – all the while working in partnership with our Account Managers to ensure our customer service activities support successful customer retention.

The Role

Principle responsibilities include: –

• Liaising with customers via telephone, email
• Processing orders with 3rd party providers – new connections, hardware, contract renewals
• Facilitating the onboarding of new customers
• Providing general ‘in-life’ customer support – resolving issues and making changes
• Resolving billing queries

Qualifications and Experience

If you’re right for us, you’ll be bringing…

• A love for delivering excellent customer service
• B2B customer service, ideally working in an SME environment
• Good Microsoft skills (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Good standard of general education
• Experience of provisioning and supporting 3rd party mobile services – specifically O2 would be an advantage but not essential
