About the team
The Swift team provide public transport ticketing options, using smartcards, on all buses, trains and trams across the West Midlands. One in three public transport journeys are made with Swift each year and this is increasing continually. Swift has its current and future customers’ requirements at its heart.
The team are always looking for innovative ways to increase, even further, the simplicity of obtaining and using Swift. Increasingly customers are looking for a seamless transport solution and Swift is already piloting acceptance for parking, bike hire, taxis and even access to leisure centres. These solutions will be rolled out even further in the future and will help ensure that public transport is increasingly seen as the optimum customer choice.
