Duration: Permanent
Hours: 9 – 5.30 Monday to Friday – some overnight stopovers

The Organisation:

CareTech is one of the UK’s largest providers of children’s services. Through our network of companies we provide specialist services for children and young adults who have complex needs that include; Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), autism and a learning disability.

Our Specialist Education Schools and Colleges, Residential Services and Foster Agencies operate across England, Scotland and Wales. We are proud to support over 2,000 children and young adults across our 47 services, who are assisted by 5,500 dedicated staff.

The Role:
We are looking to recruit a Senior Resourcing Business Partner to support the growth and continued expansion of our Children’s and Young Peoples Division. As the Senior Resourcing Business Partner, you will work strategically and play an active part in the Groups overall People and Resourcing Strategy. You will be a coach to new members of the wider Resourcing team whilst still applying your passion and drive for recruitment to your own Region.

The post holder will be responsible for managing and motivating a small team in developing, shaping and delivering the Resourcing and onboarding plan for the designated Regions, throughout England, Scotland and Wales

This is a field/office based role so flexibility is required as you may work in a variety of geographical locations across the group. You will proactively plan and manage a variety of events to attract candidates with the right values and behaviours to support the increasing demands of our business, this will include:

• Open Days
• Pre-employment workshops
• Assessment Centres
• Job Fairs
• Targeted Advertising Campaigns
• Presentations to Management on topical issues

The ideal candidate will have a previous track record working in a fast-paced resourcing department or employment agency, with a specialism in the Health and Social Care sector

This is a demanding target driven role which will require travel to the services within the Division in order to support our management with interviewing and selection of the best possible candidates who meet the criteria of the roles.

Knowledge and Experience

• Understanding of Children’s Services, specifically safer recruitment (KCSIE)
• Knowledge of Homes Regulations (CQC & Ofsted)
• Knowledge and understanding of anti-discrimination, employment law and equal opportunities
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to provide ongoing training in respect of recruitment and selection
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping abreast of changes in legislation and good practice in respect of recruitment and selection

Due to the nature of the position, successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS/PVG disclosure prior to commencement of employment; the disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
