Are you an experienced administrator looking for a varied and challenging opportunity?

As Team Administrator you will provide general administrative support to the Housing and Regeneration Directorate. You will support the delivery of the Annual Business plan and various other projects and programmes, coordinate and manage diaries across the directorate and work collaboratively with the rest of the team.

You will schedule meetings, support heads of service as directed, take minutes and actions, coordinate agendas and papers, book travel, deal with all queries received by email and phone.

This role will provide a high level of administration support to the senior leadership group and contribute to key workstreams and working groups.

About you

You will have experience of working as an administrator or coordinator role and have provided support to a team and have worked across a number of business leads.

This is a fast-paced role and requires you to be flexible with your time and ensure you meet the needs and demands of the directorate and the WMCA. You will be able to work as part of a team, be confident in using your own initiative and be able to provide high-quality support to everyone you work with

You will report into the Director’s PA and will need to provide cover in their absence, tasks and work will be given by Heads of Service/Director within the Housing and Regeneration Directorate.

You will have contact with senior people, both internally and externally, therefore you need to be comfortable talking to people at all levels. It’s important that you can manage your own time, be able to manage multiple tasks and be able to plan ahead.

It is important that you can use Microsoft Office packages to an intermediate/advanced standard.
